Well, the results of the "Gastric Emptying" study on Friday are in.
While I "empty" just fine (whatever that means), there is evidence of some reflux. So that means...
a new GI doctor! (thankfully, at children's)
And...
probably more tests!

I hope they can get you on some meds to control the reflux. Megan's reflux is so severe that she takes 3 Nexium a day and 2 Zantac, and it still looks definite that she'll be having the Nissen post transplant. I have a really good friend who lives in Columbus, OH, and he had a Nissen there and it went really well, so if you ever need one, I can get his surgeon's name. Hope all goes well. You really inspire me. I am so proud of you and all you have accomplished.
